THE BAPTIST

Jesus' cousin is a wild, fire-and-brimstone, Old Testament preacher whose pulpit is a remote spot on the Jordan River. When Jesus arrives on the scene he finds hundreds of people listening, mesmerized, to a filthy, unkept man wearing nothing but a small tattered skin,
yet scaring the literal hell out of everyone present.

SATAN'S THRONE
(Act 1, Scene 7)
Satan is surveying his vast desolate domain when he spots something very peculiar in his high-tech

WELCOME TO MY WORLD

Satan suddenly realizes who exactly is scaling his mountain. God's own son! First he gives God a good talking-to and then turns his attention to God's wayward son. Not even a god for god's sake. Just a man. Satan is overjoyed. Did God actually send a mere mortal to fight him? "You made him a... man?!"

"And I know just where I'm going to hit him!"
